About Us Our first collection of infant bodysuits feature designs inspired by Caribbean American heritage, colloquialisms, language, and experiences. We aim to authentically represent Hispanics, while equipping them with a tool that will make their heritage tangible, and shareable with the next generation.
The Mission Ojala Threads embraces the values of community, individualism, resilience and authenticity. Ojala Threads curates legacies by providing wardrobe pieces that trigger emotional connections and overcome generational divisions. Each design tells a story, while honoring the threads that create our identity. Our pieces are more than clothing. They are a parenting tool imagined in the South Bronx.
Our heritage inspired bodysuits are currently made in sizes newborn to 24 months. Ojala Threads will eventually expand its designs, and size offerings.
The Product Ojala Threads selected a white, cotton and spandex blend, making the pieces softer than current retail offerings. We also use non toxic, water based inks. We are committed to working with partners that utilize less harmful materials therefore decreasing our negative impact to the environment. Operating in the Bronx has inspired our Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy.
